In a heartwarming expression of solidarity, collaboration and inspiration, led by the President of KGUMSB, the Faculty of post graduate medicine acknowledged the academic success of Dr Dechen Wangmo. Dr Dechen Wangmo is currently undergoing competency-based internship program in FoPGM, KGUMSB.
Amongst others, all the interns presently undergoing the same program were in attendance. The young doctors expressed that though the award was for Dr Dechen Wangmo, the reward was for all of them. Their hope, and their prayers is that the reward will be awarded to the patients in times to come.
Thought the atmosphere was celebratory, the president reminded each and everyone present of the long journey ahead, not to lose sight of the true purpose of the noble profession of medicine. The young doctors expressed to live up to the expectations to the true tenets of medicine, grounded on the philosophy of altruism and selfless service.
